First of all, this info is from ABS member Neil Ambrose, and to him I send many thanks.
Right, I know there's a couple of you that have expressed an interest in converting from homosexual dash to homophobic dash, so here's what Neil has done.
**I must stress that I haven't done this yet, but will as soon as the Vectra's back on the street.

On the digi dash there are 4 plugs on the back
Yellow
Blue
Black 16 pin
Black 14 pin
You'll need a spare black plug as you need some extra pins
On the yellow and blue plugs you'll need to cut the cable tie off so you can remove the outer case to see the pin numbers. These are marked at the ends only so you'll have to count along to make sure you get the correct wires as some colours are used more than once.
Starting with the black 14 pin pin 1 -7 are as required then you'll need some extra pins from the spare plug. These can be removed by pushing a thin screwdrive underneath the pin and pulling it out from the back. I left about 3" of cable on mine so I could solder on the wires cut from the other plugs.
Pins 1 - 7 leave as is
Pin 8 - blue/white cable from pin 1 of the yellow plug
Pin 9 - blue/green cable from pin 22 of the yellow plug
Pin 10 - existing cable
Pin 11 - blue cable from pin 17 of the yellow plug
Pin 12 - blue/black cable from pin 4 of the yellow plug
Pin 13 - existing cable
Pin 14 - green cable from pin 7 of the yellow plug
Black 16 pin plug is as needed
This will have the dash working. The next part is for the check control lights. On the analog dash the check light modual is a seperate part of the clocks and can be unscrewed. I belive that the control box is built into the digi dash so you'll need a box. These are usually a remote unit and the lamps in the dash are just connected to the control unit, but I found an early CDX in a breakers yard and this had the control box as part of the bulb unit see photo below
This make life easier as you dont have to mount a control box. I used the blue plug that was fitted to this unit and cut off the blue plug on my cars existing loom. Then connect the plug as follows
Pin 1 - brown cable from pin 10 of the yellow plug
Pin 2 - existing yellow/red cable
Pin 3 - not used
Pin 4 - existing brown/yellow cable
Pin 5 - not used
Pin 6 - existing black/white cable
Pin 7 - existing brown/red cable
Pin 8 - existing blue/red cable
Pin 9 - not used
Pin 10 - existing black/grey cable
Pin 11 - existing black/yellow cable
Pin 12 - black cable from pin 15 of the yellow plug
Pin 13 - red cable from pin 24 of the yellow plug
