Have I got a winner?

Well for a quid it has to be worth a punt, just got to figure how to get it home. Only up the road though
To clarify (as the guy selling it doesnt have a clue)> Its an Auto 2.6CDXi, Black, Stolen/Recovered with damaged door lock and ignition.
Apparently no other damage and runs well. No Idea of Mileage.
I got as a Donor for my Black 2.0CDXi and Red 2.6 Dippy
Picking it up saturday I hope will keep you informed and chuck some pics on then

Cheers Ian Wink
Well just back from picking it up...............what a peach!!
Not started since May......Changed Battery, First turn of the screwdriver.......fired up a dream.
Steering column FUBARED, drivers door not too bad.
Drives dead straight, 5 good tyres, H plate, facelift, 90.000 on the clock. Never misses a beat, gearbox smooth as silk
Are you all jealous?............well there is maybe one thing, I havent investigated properly yet.
In the rear footwells, both sides the same, there is a bulge in the floor, both my others are flat in this area.
I am talking a big Bulge here, yet there is no damage anywhere else I can see and the car is dead straight.,
All shut lines spot on etc. Anyone any ideas?

Mr Mad.......Thats precisely what I thought, except that it is very symetrical and there is no obvious damage underneath.
Is that the MOT tester in you suggesting a lump hammer (and would it fail if I left it?)
I will take some proper pics when it stops raining and I can get under for a good look.

I found this pic on your post of the Louts in Progress, seems to show something similar to what I am talking about.
Is this maybe a feature of earlier body shells?

Looks like sound-proofing to me, just rolled up out of the way for a bit of welding.

Not got any humps, bumps or laydee-lumps in my floorwells!
