is it just me or is their 2 din slots in my carlton, becuase i want to fit a DIN gauge mount into it.  heres a pic of the interior



surly all i have to do is remove the walnut trim and i can fit summin like this is its place

Yep - early Carltons had a two stack CD player below and a RC above

The hole is slightly bigger than a DIN size unit you need to get a DIN size holder
i used the old coin storage din that was in mine ,cut the back & top out ,fastened the DIN case then slotted the whole thing back in

- Remove the radio from above and pop it out without breaking it from the slot above
