do all 12v's have an octane rating plug, if so where should it be cos I can't find one on mine  Huh

I wasn't sure if they did 'cos that might been have part of my starting problem??

I have a 93 24v GSi and was just wounderiing if theres a octane rating plug in the gsi's.
and i was thinking of trying out super unleaded do i have to change the timing or anything?

the 24v doesn't need them because it has knock sensors.  In other words, the timing adjusts itself depending what fuel you put in it. 

12v's don't have knock sensors.  The earlier ones you adjust the timing, the later ones there's an octane plug!
