its ethier snapped the cam or dropped a valve or the tappet has gone but she has left a great big bulge in the rocker cover at the back

the other alternative is .....to get the engine thats in my garage put a thermostat housing on new cam belt and drop it in the cost of the engine is nil just need to buy a cam belt and a beer / petrol token for delivery ive got some holiday due so maybe we can sort it out between us?

the post was ment as,if no one else takes it and it has to be scraped,then i offerd what the scrap man would pay,and stick it at the back of a unit and sort it when i get a chance,

you have miss understood me i ment we would not sell the Carlton for 30 pounds and we wont scape it even if it mean it sitting on my mums drive for years to come until we can arford to put it back on the road again and Carlton mad i know that is what you offered and we are happy Worth that
