Dont mean 2 dig but i think the total Carlton logo is a bit boring an basic think it would look better with a vauxhall badge Total Carlton in a different text then maybe an opel badge after???

i'm sure ppl on here could design somat better?

(this isnt a dig just tryin 2 give honest opinion)

i'm sure some1 could do somat better along that idea thats just somat i knocked up quickly

i personnally think that if we used somat basic like my idea as the logo then perhaps we could use a carlton pix 4 a home page maybe is it possible 2 alternate between pictures of members cars

if the logo is 2 complicated it could be a prob when havin stickers printed or t-shirts etc

You are very welcome to freely use this outline drawing I've done - this is a small version as an example only.

The larger version is available from the link below. If you want differnt sizes or line colour/thicnesses then I can do those as well. This could be used for car stickers or "T" shirts or even as part of the Logo.

Blippi's logo is really quite stunning - simple but very affective - well done mate!

A thought just ocurred to me (happens from time to time you know) you might have copyright infringement problems using the Vauxhall and Opel Logos as part of TCs' logo - especially if shown in public as it might imply that Vauxhall/Opel have endorsed the use of these or indeed sponsor the use of these by "TotalCarlton".

There was a well known case where BMW sued some little backstreet garage for using the word "MINI" in it's company name.

Worth a check with someone that can confirm this.

Still a bloody nice logo though!

Don't think it's quite as simple as that.

The very fact that the Vauxhall and Opel logos would be used without GM's permission is enough to invite trouble.

It would probably be easier to contact someone at Vauxhall/Opel and simply ask if it can be used as part of TC's logo - which after all is promoting their cars.

Might find that someone has already been through this from another Vauxhall Club - like Vauxhall Heritage or VVOC to name just two.

Best to be safe.

It's a nice logo as I said before so thinks it's worth going the extra mile for.

Good luck mate!

Although we are using it to prmote the the "Badge" and not to slander it. Also would they really get that upset about a small group using the logo for a Vauxhall car forum/club?Huh

In the end if it is on T-shirts, it is free advertising!!!

I like blippi's logo - but if it were up to me (and it certainly isn't!!), I would just change the "CARLTON" script to the modern VX badging script - I know, I'm a bit biased.....................

.............coat on and running!

Also agree with corky13, over Budgie's outline would look cool!

Third one is nearer to what I had in mind - just slap the text over the outline.

Wish I could do stuff like that! Grin
