Autochanger/headunit combinations

Anybody know how many diffrent types of autochangers/headunit combinations were fitted to carltons + senators.I see a few people mention grundig 4870's which look to be top spec units.I've got a grundig sc804d which in the handbook says its changer compatable but are there diffrent changers? Any info would be helpfull.

The only systems i've seen are the Grundig 4870 plus 10 disc changer OR the Blaupunkt Memphis SQR88 Head Unit plus seperate CDP09 dash mounted CD player!!

Hello, I have a Grundig 4871 ...

This is a direct replacement for the 4870 - and IMHO a lot less horrific looking - I think it actually won a european design award ...

It uses the same changer as the 4870 (the MCD10) and the middle 'black box' the MCDA1.

I have a list of Grundig head units and compatible changers at work in a text file somewhere ... I'll dig it out and publish it here tomorrow ...

The 4871 was not installed in UK cars - got this off ebay Germany ...
