THESE DONT FIT!...........and have had to be returned. Now trying to get the money back from Paypal. Suppliers say they have sent the money back.

Have you gone through your ebay transaction history to try to find the supplier? If you paid by paypal, check the history of payments (you can put in a date range) to find it.

I tried the ebay buys but I reckon they delete them after a period. Good tip about the Paypal account. I'll see whats there. Got to contact them to try to get the money off them that has been sent by the seller!

Who supplied the gaiter, mktuninggaiters or top gaiters?

Currently topgaiters have item number 280626652299 for a new handbrake gaiter. Their shop on ebay is TOP GAITERS BOOTS, they done it in capitals.

Both! The topgaiters was too short and trying to get my money back from Paypal (topgaiters refunded immediately to paypal). MK doesn't seem to be for the correct car. Shape is completely wrong. They originally advertised as 2004 on. I asked them for a 1993 and they said their title was wrong and changed it to before 2004! Haven't replied yet to my request for a refund.

Unfortunately cannot find the original supplier in my Paypal record for the one now on Murphs 2.6 which fitted perfectly. I'm pretty sure it was topgaiters or MK but neither came up with the correct one!

280626652299 is not the one I ordered and was not available when I did so I cannot comment. I've noticed that since my problems more ads have appeared from both companys so i dont know which is the correct one! They must have had a sort out.

The one in mine is out of my Diplomat, which came out of a breaker a couple of years back, as it was better than my original one.

I was thinking about a brand spanker from topgaiters, hence I got the item number. £11.99 doesn't sound much for a new eyetie leather gaiter, but if it doesn't fit, what's the point?

The pic of that one seems to look ok and seems to have the plastic trim showing. Might be worth dropping them a line and saying TC members want them, they obviously can make the right one but which one! Even the specific carlton one i got from one supplier was wrong by a long way.

I've tried twice and aint doing anymore.
