Hi all,

A  bit of a strange request but I thought i would try my luck.  I have a 3litre 12v Carlton GSI.  It has only done 30,000 miles as it has been sat in the isle of man for the last 17years.  Recently it would jsut start then die again, which has now been resolved as the the ecu wasnt getting any power.  However it failed it's mot yesterday on a couple of things, which I am looking to get fixed asap preferably by someone who knows what they are doing but are cheap as I have just finished university, so I am broke.  Probably a carlton is not the most economical car, but it is the only car I have access to at the minute,

I need the brakes freeing up, as the brake pipe burst when the mot was being done.
Also I need a front wishbone fitting, i have the part but jsut don't know how to fit it.

I am based in Cheshire, Northwich to be exact, so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated as I am meant to be taking it to Le Mans in France on the 29th of June for a 24hour kart race.  I am willing to pay money, or an alternative subsititue such as kart setting up, tution.

Thanks for reading this.

Hey,

Thanks for your replies.  Managed to fix it over the weekend, the bolts were a bit tight and worn, so i had to use my kart axle as leverage.  Have fixed the front wishbone and cleaned up the front brakes, but after checking the back brakes i need two rear calipers for my car.  DOes anyone know anywhere where I can hold of a pair, fast and cheap?  As I need to get it mot'd ideally before friday.

CHeers
