That diff in my 89 GSi was nice a quiet, it did weap oil a bit (not enough to drip on the floor, but enough to cover the casing and attract dirt!!)

I have an LSD, but probably knackered as it's been dry for a few years.
I think it was noisy too.

What I could do is try that one first, see how it goes and if it's FUBAR, get yours and slip that in.
