Hi Allymac,
I'm seriously interested in the CDi you have for sale but the asking price of Łk3 is pretty steep considering that it doesn't tick all the boxes for me. Ideally I am looking for a 2.0L manual CDX but the CDi would do the trick but then there would be the time and cost to change it to manual drive. On top of this there would be the cost of inspecting the car, and then bringing it to Derbyshire. The downside of putting the car into dry storage is that we never know what the future will bring. Not to sound to pessimistic, will you or your father be around in the future to benefit from the sale of the car, will the car have the same kind of attraction then as it does now. Perhaps a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Thats clearly your decision.
If you want to pursue this then you can email me at
david.bradd@virgin.net and if we can reach an agreement I can pay you immediately after seeing the car.
P.S. The car would be well looked after and kept in the same standard as it is now, following on from my first 2.0 CDi and the 2.0 CDX I have now.
Best regards.
