Also forgot to say that you will need to remove the vauxhall cage the old unit sits in.
the iso connectors are pluged into the back of the cage but there are 3.
with the cage removed trace the wiring back....you will find a box(about 40mm x 100mm x 50mm),the blue cd lead that runs to boot is attached to this.
you need to unplug and remove this box and then you will end up with the standard 2 plug iso lead that should fit into new sterio.
also worth saying that the blue cd lead that runs to the boot and multi changer is compatable with some pioneer cd multi changers provided the adapter box is unplugged and removed,
hope this is of some use to someone in the future.

OK do it the old fashioned way

- Remove cubby hole/blank from under the stereo

- insert required nails/coat hanger wire etc etc

- Push the stereo out from behind using a stubby screwdriver to lever it forward in the cage as well as from in front with fingers firmly wedged in the cassete slot

If that fails I guess you might want to get a big hammer  Roll Eyes

I suspect the unit may have been out in the past for repair and dealer has stuck a few stickers on the head unit.
make sure the 4 wires you insert in pin holes are in about 2 " to release the catches, stuff your fingers in the cassette hole and give it a good wiggle whilst gently pulling forward.
as for codes ....well i swapped a few units in my time and its allways worth trying 0000...or looking to see if anyone has wrote code on head unit anywhere .and also check any paperwork, service manual, radio booklet if you have them.
the use of an F.B.H to remove the head onit is not recomended as this will simply jam the sterio in even more.
(F.B.H. = F**king big hammer)
hope you get it sorted.
