I have bit of spare cash which I was going to invest either in gold/silver bullion or a new bio fuel plantation, couple of hectares with a guaranteed 14.5% return after year one and possibly 50% after year two and three. Gold up around 1200 a kilo maybe as much as 4000 by the end of the year, silver 90 odd a kilo, possibly over 150 by the end of the year, but........this LC stopped me in my tracks, I mean what better investment, providing it's not rusty or anything!!!?Huh?

Come on guys, help me decide, 'specially as my poor old girl looks like she could be written off! Cry

Buy the land.
Then buy my 2.6 estate off me and swap the parts off the red one to get the car you want.

I would rather my car ended up in a good home and Jon would be a good candidate.  Cheesy

I'd be the last person to slag off an LC but you can't really say that until you've seen under the bodykit. Being washed & polished they generally all look tidy examples (the amount of people who wondered why I was getting mine done when I did including SWMBO until I started taking the kit off & she could see the tinworm for herself).

You could Jon or maybe a slightly cheaper LO would suit your environment a bit better.  Smiley

why, thank you sir!!!
The problem is I would have to go through the whole matriculation thing again, which, while I can afford it, it just grips my S$*te that it has to be done and it's not quick either, the only way I could use your estate Murph would be to cut it up and use the parts and I am not prepared to sacrifice another of these wonderful underrated cars.
The 2.6 sits just below the 3.0 versions in terms of power, and a little bit above the standard 2.0  in terms of performance. I just love the way they drive!
I will have to see what the 'Man' says this coming week!

So in this case I would have to decline that selfless offer and see what's what. I'll keep you all informed.
As for an LO (hah) I don't think SWMBO would be too happy loosing the load carrier for a cosseted super saloon(LOL). Besides that would mean going to Germany, don't think would impress her much either!!!

Merkel would not let me back out if she knew how much cash I was carrying!!!!! Grin

To save you carrying all that cash, let me give you my bank details and you can make a sizeable on my behalf.  Grin
