Buying and Selling

Just been lookin on another forum and spotted they had a system in place

basically u have a buyer/seller reference section in it u have a thread for each member selling

then if u buy something from that user u go and reply to that persons thread

that way it keeps a full log of what they've sold to who and how the sale went

i am!! Have 2 off easrly GSI 12V's doing nowt up the drive now, and a whole load of spares in the shed...........e-bay is ok, but has it down falls.

sounds like a good idea...
but one thing i have noticed on another site is that people doing this kind of thing are 'bumping' their threads back to the top..will that be policed here ? so all people get a good chance of selling their stuff..

Have only noticed that on a few occasions so i don't see it as a problem.  I don't normally advertise anything for sale, i use ebay for that!  I normally wait till someone wants something then put the appropriate post in!!

to be honest i dont see that as a problem if u want 2 sell it quickly

generally i think scatman has the best way of selling things he will reply to wanted threads etc but with certain items u dont need them till u see em lol

this would just be a reference section so that those who are wary bout buying from people will know if that person is ok
I have not had 1 single problem buying or selling at all with members of this site and i've dealt with quite a few and i thought this would make people who normally wouldnt consider buying and selling to have access to this
