A couple of days ago there was a 3 Litre 24 valve Senator on ebay for £600 which disappeared, supposedly unsold, almost as soon as I noticed it Roll Eyes

It needed a little tidying but looked pretty good.

I wonder why ? it looks OK and it's a 24v after all.
Something would have to be radically amiss for it to remain unsold Huh

Just had another look at the pic of the engine and can see

two screws rattling around by the oil filler cap and 2 missing

from dual ram plate...also something missing just to left of oil filler

Should i be worried ?

As long as there is nothing seriously wrong this has got to be a good buy. The body looks really good, or was the photo taken some years ago?

On my last pm the guy said he was using it till the tax/mot expired
and then just parked it up, so it should at least be drivable...

But with no rent or ticket its only scrap value really if i had means
to move it and storage i would bite his arm off but not at that money

Shame really coz itsa lovely looker.

Wosat bit of pipework to the left of the oil filler cap something to do with the cooling system?

Comes off the top of the water pump into the heater matrix.
