Today, I did something, as I have done before, but this time it was a success!! What I did, didn't go as I thought it would, it went better.
Anybody want a guess what I did?

I don't think so the nearest I can understand that is "Dat connected with Arianism (studies of the master race !!) I think that "yn erbyn datgysylltu Brenhineth" is a closer stab at it

Your grasp of Welsh is obviously better than mine! How did you translate it?

It was my superior grasp of the Welsh language Actually, I used http://www.cs.cf.ac.uk/fun/welsh/LexiconForms.htmlBut first, you have to understand that antidisestablishmentarianism means 'the faction opposed to the removal (disestablishment) of the monarch as supreme head of the Church of England'. Then translate the concept But sometimes I wonder if the Welsh actually know what they are saying to each other Just kidding HONESTLY: Please don't place a Fatwah on me

Give up? Ok. Each time I have removed them little locking tabs on the locking knob, they always break. I removed one on the driver's door card without breaking it. I used a small jeweller's screwdriver to carefully prise it out.

Easy You should have done a search http://totalcarlton.com/forums/index.php/topic,3100.msg43186.html#msg43186"If you lever these off using a thin bladed screwdriver, use one about 7 mm wide and lever with the blade in the center of the insert. Lever to either side of the center ( it is easier to get the blade in there because it is unsupported and more flexible) and you will almost certainly break the insert. You will certainly mark the knob removing the insert but a quick touch with a fine file makes it almost unnoticeable."

Ah I managed it right first time. Then........ seldom succeeded since. I got so worried by it I avaoided taking door trims off and I started collecting them at scrap yards (usually successfully as I did not care !). It was a while ago but I cannot help thinking that first time I used blind hope but after that I got clever and started carefully levering one side off at a time. Judging by the post from Melinx I now know that I was getting too clever and doing it wrong .
