Hi,
I've got a metalic gold C reg Carlton CD Auto 2.2i for sale, it's been in the family from new, but has been sitting in a dry barn since 1999. As far as I can see it's got no rust damage at all, the bodywork is in good condition except for a dented rear n/s panel and smashed light cluster. Having been idle for so long it will need some encouragement to start, but is was running when it was put in storage. It's done relatively low miles (c.60-70k), though hard to say exactly as it had a new speedo (done for doing 94 when the speedo was showing 70!). The engine needed some attention as it was burning some oil, believed to be a head problem? The inside is in excellent condition. If you're interested I'll send you some pics. I can't....but a pair...
However, a friend of mine is exploring storage space and it has 6 bits. If I recal, I seem to remember enquiring about a Barn Carlton several years ago but if I don't think that had an exhaust. Most of those panels are available new on the German Opel site. The Mk2 is very easy to strip too
can't wait to see where this goes
