The chancellor has cancelled the 3p duty increase scheduled for January and the August increase will be ONLY 3p higher than it is now !

It's rather like the 'Worshipful Guild of Muggers and Burglars' saying that they are mindful of the financial difficulties people are suffering so they are maintaining the current depth of 2 inches that their members are allowed to push the knife into their victims Roll Eyes

However, they reserve the right to increase it to 2 1/2 inches later in the year Sad

I paid £1.34 a litre earlier. £20 got me 14 litres and a bit. Me mate told me of a Gulf petrol garage on the way into C****ff, and they were charging £1.51 unleaded and £1.62 diesel a litre.

Either way the motorist gets screwed again.
