If so, I know you say you're not mechanically minded but its a 15 minute job to change it. I'm sure we can provide pics & a write up as to what to do & you can keep your money in your pocket. If not & theres no-one closer I'm sure I could help. |

Screwdriver to undo the jubilee clips is all you need but the offer to help is there if needed. Hold on, I've just thought. Has it got the oil cooler mounted on the side of the rad? I'm only used to taking Senny or LC rads out which have the oil coolers mounted in front of the wheel wells & are easy to get out. |

well after 4 days of scouring the net and not having any luck finding a new rad I have finally found some one who will recore my rad for £150.

Just had my local radiator specialist say that they can't get a core for my rad and the only place that can do it is a place in Holland for £200! I'd be interested to see if you have better luck! |

Have you tried Carquip, Downham Market, Norfolk, 01366 324318?
Or Vauxplus, Newport, Gwent, 01633 420333?
I have used both the above, found them great. Both take plastic and mail order. They deal in used Vauxhall parts.
There's Kingswood Cavaliers in Bristol. Never dealt with them, but they were in Total Vauxhall a year or two back. Worth a fone call, 01179 476624.

It was a Serck agent in Portsmouth. The guy said he couldn't understand why it was so hard to find a core for it as the radiator wasn't anything special. |

well I have got my radiator  only problem is .....................it has cost me £357 to have it recored and refitted  . spent more money on the diamond in the past 6 wks than i did buying the bloody thing |

now i need a new bonnet. some thing/one has put a big dent in mine, was done at the garage. not happy but they did say that would sort it after offering me a £57 refund for removing and refitting my rad. had to think about it for all of a millisecond lol. new bonnet for xmas    |
