Took the Diplomat for an MOT today (two and a half weeks early)

It sailed through with no problems at all Smiley

The only thing that slightly concerned me was that the Lambda reading was right on the edge at 1.03 (weak).

I know that the sensor is not acting a bit sluggish because I can see a fair amount of cross counts around stoichiometric on the Lambda meter I've fitted.

'Have I got a hole somewhere in the exhaust' I thought, if there is, it's not audible.

Reviewing the emissions test results from previous years shows that sometimes it's 1.01 and sometimes 1.03; no changes have been made in that period so I 'aint going to concern myself at all Smiley

Well done with the mot pass. Always good news to know another Carlton has made it for another year.

Well done. Hope to add my Rioja one to the list soon, first test of in my ownership so this could be an eye opener.

When I had my first Carlton, the first mot I had with it wasn't good. Nothing that couldn't be sorted.
