Yes, the rear half of a 2.6 estate, its going to be scrapped so parts are available.

Why only the back end you might wonder.

Well, I bought it off Diplo-matt to use to cut panels off to repair the estate I have and that project is a non starter now so Im clearing out.
The first thing to go is the half car (it was an unfinished trailer project).

Whats available?
Im keeping axle parts as Im guessing they are suitable for other 6 pot cars, otherwise imagine a rough estate car and anything from the B pillar back is available.

If theres something you want just ask and Ill tell you if its there and what condition its in.

Its located in Co Durham.

PS, the estate that isnt going to be repaired will also be offered for spares in due course but theres a lot I need to get off it first.

Trailer  Tongue. Thats an idea, wish I was rolling in money. Dont even know where I would keep it though. Could use it camping once a year. I sort of hate seeing cars modified (though respect to those that can tackle it) but that would be OK wouldn't it ?. Never seen a carlton estate but I think I saw a moggy traveller back end like that, oh and a (real) mini.

I've seen a few trailers made from cars. At Billing you're most likely to see Vauxhall/Opels converted. Tidy looking trailers. A Carlton estate would have plenty of room for a good ................. I'll leave it to your imagination!

Even at 6ft 2in I have slept soundly on a mattress in the back. But crawling in and out was the worst part. Nowadys my knees wont tolerate it as I noticed while camping this August - so I went to Millets in the end of season sale and got a taller dome tent. So I would like to make this a closed trailer with taller windows - kinda mini caravan. Would really need taller sides but then it would lose the Carlton esque line !. Perhaps the back end of a hearse would be less converting !. Na just make it the basis for a fold out tent (trailer tent).
