I was wondering even though this is a carlton site if there was many senator owners on here and if senators are welcome on the posts?,I'm guessing they are as i've seen a few questions about them on here. Grin

tbh m8 i cant speak for others but i have no problem welcoming senator owners on here

dont think we got much choice because quite a few have both carlton and senators

the way i look it is the cars are so similar an a lot of bits swap over so handy for both owners and more parts available to keep both these cars on the road

just unfortunate u got the ugly duckling of the pair  Wink Grin Grin Grin Grin

PAINT IT BLACK

Another Rolling Stones fan then  Smiley
I've got a 12 valve 3.0 Senator as well as the Dippy.
To break the grille up. why not fit the chrome trim strip from the Vectra or Omega, you know, the chrome strip with the 'vee' in the middle and the Griffin badge in the 'vee'.
My old Carlton had one fitted, it looked the nuts.

Just paint the grille black, it looks loads better, well it does to me anyway!!

& here is the aforementioned Senator with a black grille:

Anjnoyingly i had to break this grille off today to gain access to under the bonnet (long running problem with the bonnet release system on this car!!)
