Currently running around in an L-Reg Carlton 'Diamond' Estate :-)

Well, when i say currently, its currently sat in the garage having failed the MOT on a duff hazard switch.

2 litres of 'needs another litre' injection and leather.



Got a few niggles:

Whine from prop/diff.  Not sure what it is exactly but its a bit worrying!

Squeaking/rasping from under bonnet - again a bit worrying but I'm hoping its something trivial.  Overdue a service so will do belts and all tensioners.  Its nigh on 160,000 miles so hoping its nothing serious.

General rattles.  From everything.

And some previous previous owner bodges, like a lack of bolts holding trim on (may explain the rattling!), and some 'twisted together' wiring, which i think has been the cause of blowing fuses.

Proper comfy tank though :-)

I should be saving fuel, but I cant help myself but wonder about more litres and valves.  Your swap didnt seem traightforward though  Grin

I would have been if I were using a complete 24v gsi as a donor, but miss matching parts always causes issues. Having a worn top end didn't help either!!
