windows not working removed footwell carpet etc  reds corroded and seperated so dont know which ones to join up there are two pairs of reds facing rearwards and three reds that is two thick and one thin facing forwards one pair facing rearwards  appear to come from the front somewhere the other pair come from a plug fixed to the door post  any clues please

There are two groups of red wires that rot and come apart, Vauxhall had them separate so I fixed them the same way but perhaps could have joined them like Murph said. I didnt bother to check, if they are fed from different fuses then joining the two groups would have everything working but not properly protected by the fuses.

Heres a couple of pics that may be a small help, before and after. Its not clear to see which wires were from which group though.

mine were the same chris mad used copper pipe and loads of solder and did them individualy, in BOTH cars, there are pics about on here some where

although personally Id use heavy wire, solder and heatshrink. Thats what they are made for.
