You could always do what I did on my Dippy - chop one coil out.
It works well if done carefully and mine handles so much better for it.

besides i think i have a new set of coil compressors now to let us do the job without swearing too much and losing eyeballs with flying objects lol

Got  pair of spax -40mms' here if you want them, however they have had a coil out of them already...lol

they will still just fit on a standard shock without dislocation.

Tell you what - come down and have a look at my dippy, that one has had a coil carefully removed from each front spring.
If you like how it sits and handles we'll just swap the front legs over, mine is gonna need new ones anyway.

Yeah I think your both right 40mm is quite a drop and chris you know what the speed humps are like round here lol
I'll have to sort out when I can get down to you and when your not working.. On a sunday soon if thats ok..
