- without the trims on the doors

Why? they look great IMO...

What the std black ones with chrome trims? - They look naff with the kit on - I might be able to get away with colour coding them and losing the chrome but I think it would be better without

- Colour coded bumpers

Are they not colour coded anyway?

Nope - main section is black front and rear to blend in with the std door stripes but neither end has chrome inserts so it looks sort of unfinished

- Full size chip cutter grill with a section of OE senator bumper frenched into the Irmscher front bumper

What??? That's just savage! senator grilles are like a wide mouthed frog - they are waaaaay too big that's why Irmscher made them smaller! OK so they're not great quality, but who cares??? if they ain't great, chop an OE one down.... Shocked

Can't cut a std one down the dimensions don't work would be half way thro a set of slots - trust me on this one it will look right  Wink I spent ages thinking about it and then mocking up what it would look like before I decided to be  heretic and cut an Irmscher bumper up

- Lotus Carlton Spoiler

Cool - not seen that on a senny in a while Wink

Only ever seen it once!!

- Proper irmscher spaces on the rear wheels so it fills the arches

Aren't the wheel arches standard size? Didn't know about this but my wheels look a tad lost in my arches since the senny arch conversion, maybe I need these?

Yep - Arches are - wheels aren't tho - and irmscher made special wheel spacers to suit the wheels and finish them flush with the kit

- All silver wheels no polishing (this will amaze some people as they'll assume I'd be blacking them)

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

You're going for a proper wheel colour? what the.....

 Shocked indeed

- Interior is LC seats front and rear (std senny black door cards)

I was gonna buy them once but I still haven't found the money...... Roll Eyes

Well seeing as I still have em I've fitted them  Grin

With you now - I thought you meant the skirts

- Colour coded bumpers

Nope - main section is black front and rear to blend in with the std door stripes but neither end has chrome inserts so it looks sort of unfinished

thought you meant the bottom bit.... so you're gonna colour code the black bits using plasticiser?

Hmmmmmm not convinced.... I know what you're saying about the original one being halfway inbetween a hole why bastardize an Irmscher bumper just because the quality of the irmscher grille isn't up to scratch?

Reckon I need em?

Well I suppose you have time to change your mind, you've got a monza to finish yet......

(even though you've completed the senator engine........)

Well sod quoting from above!!!

1. Glad we got the skirt thing sorted

2. The black sections on the bumper is a textured paint and removed easily - you are left with plain fibreglass gelcoat finish

3. I'm gonna chop up a perfect Irmscher bumper cos I haven't got a rough one to destroy

I'm gonna do it cos

- I can

- I love the full size chip cutter grill and a senny doesn't look the same without one

- It would look naff with a half cut grill

- The Irmsher grill is rubbish quality and I really don't want to re-invent the wheel and get one made specially

4. I don't know if you need spacers depends on width and offset of the wheels fitted - I do know that not many people realise you need them but if you look at a kitted senny it soon becomes obvious that they are needed at the back - If I remember I'll did out a very suitable picture that illustrates why!!

5. Wheels have already been refurbished and have new tyres on em - done and dusted - not going to change my mind

I bought two sets of Irmscher X spoke 16 inch alloys one set painted & one set painted and polished spokes and rims - I tried both on the car and decided based on that fitting session - how mad is that!!

And finally YES - I do need to get the Monza finished but it's coming along nicely now.......
