I have realised I have asked advise on here and been given it ( 1993 Carlton windows ) but I have not really introduced myself. I am Martin, Live in Widnes. I have a 1993 Carlton 2.0 GLi Auto. It was my grandads who passed away in 2002. I have done everything over the years to keep the car alive. Two years ago my friend welded the WHOLE floor, sills etc. I parked it up for the first time JAN11-JUN11 and I have decided never again, so I have taxed, insured, & MOT'd it and I am going to use it & do all the little jobs as I go along, so loads of questions probably coming. Rear arches are ordered & my friend is looking at painting the whole car for me. Apart from that & a noisy diff ( been noisy for 30,000 miles now ) it's great. I have also had to sell my other car as I can no longer afford to run the two. Will the Carlton pull a caravan ok. I have never really put it under any load ?
Thanks,
Martin

Yeah she'll pull it - but she might struggle a little with a larger van.

Sounds like you've caught the Carlton bug so you're in good hands here - welcome!
