I'm thinking of removing the ashtray, to get the centre consol cubby thing out Tongue Do I have to take the ashtray off, or is there any other way to remove the cubby?

The roof of the Cubby has a couple of 'prongs', if you feel for these and push them 'up', the cubby will simply slide out.

Aha, I'll try that, thanks! How do you remove the ashtray then?

Been a while since I removed mine. I can't remember if it's a couple of screws behind the ashtray cover/door, or if you can simply prize it out like the cubby.

Have a look for some small screws around the ashtray. Unless someone else on here can enlighten us.

One screw either side of the ashtray which must be open to access them, then it will need a jiggle to get it out.
