if you put the ley in the master lock ( drivers door ) and hold it there there the windows should do the closure thingy = see if that still works , is it a factory alarm???   you can get a good alarm cheap on ebay that does anything and everything you could imagine  - my mate get is an auto electrician in the Wiltshire area and can fit supply and fit for a good price .

Microswitch??? what's that??
Tried the key in the lock still don't shut the windows.. Never normally use the key in the lock as it's all done by the remote fob

Try holding the key half way btween lock and deadlock positions - that should trigger the total closure.
As for the alarm, check the fuses and the batteries in the fob first of all.

Tried holding the key halfway that don't work either.
The doors are still locking and unlocking but the windows have stopped closing by theirselves

You could try to reset the windows,if you put the windows up and keep holding the button down until you here a relay click.

does the keyfob still lock/unlock the doors....
there may be a break in the pulse wire from the alarm to the window relay....but check all fuses 1st...take them out 1 at a time, clean the contacts with a bit of emery paper and put them back....

time to take your dash apart I think,The control unit should be up behind the glove and the window wires you need are behind the kick panel on the passangers side, the wire your looking for is a brown with a black trace.

You sould have a wire from the alarm to the window wire it will either be soldered on if your lucky or scotch locked cant mind which colour the wire from the alarm is.Check that connection.
