Not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum. Does anybody know if the wheels and rims from an Omega b (Vauxhall Omega) fits on the Omega a (Vauxhall Carlton).

Didn't all Omega B's run the bigger rotors and therefore calipers, I'm sure I read that somewhere else.

Omega A (Carlton) & Omega B have identical discs (rotors) & calipers.....they're even the same part nos. The Omega B is virtually the same platform (chassis) as the A, with a different body. The suspension is, apart from a few angle changes, the same.

Sort of - the Omega doesn't have the smaller discs and therefore callipers, if I remember correcltly. Also, the suspension has quite a few differences - diff mounts, front lower wishbone, rear donuts spring to mind.

Aye, all Omega's had the 296mm rotors same as the GSI 24v and some of the 2.6 CDXi, no that would be all the 2.6 CDXi estates. So the answer is that any Omega wheels will fit any Carltons, like the OP said, gives him a bigger choice of wheels.

Yes, when I said the discs/calipers were identical I was only talking about the 3000cc models Pete, & lower wishbones are virtually the same (I know they've got slightly different bush angles) but overall apart from a few mounting etc. alterations I think you'd agree that the setup is basically similar?
