Seriously? Try doing it on a smaller car, MUCH harder. Had the pedalbox out of my Lotus rep to retrofit an Astra-G hydro clutch cylinder and also install an electronic throttle, I found it dead easy compared to retrofitting the same Astra-G hydro cylinder into a Calibra.

It'll be easy enough.
The auto dash loom is different so the dash will need to come out to change the loom anyway.
It does look daunting once the dash is out but it's not as bad as you think.
