Talk to Budgie
He has had his one fully restored and looking mint. Many of us (me included) have seen it first hand and it is absolutely concourse.

I'm still up for a trundle down the A15 to Lincolnshire!

There's an ABS Northern meet (informal, but it has to be if I'm going! LOL!!!) on May 7th in Manchester somewhere.

Manchester's not all bad (except for the footy team in red!).

Apparently......... Grin

Is bugie the dude with the red carlton ?

I remember seeing it on the show your own  , and thats what has inspired me to get mine done , would like to ask  him how much it cost him for each bit of work done .

Also debating wether to have my engine stripped and rebiult or to have an omega eco tec put in her instead , but depends if i can match the wiring loom or if i will have to have a complete new wirring room. It would be just a normal 2.016valve  eco tec . and would it connect strait to my auto-box with out changing to much ?

I think fitting an Ecoshitetech engine would be alot of buggering about - easier to fit a straight six!

Thats whats what i thought . But my mate keeps winding me up to drop a 3.0gsi engine in , but i can only afford to run her as a 2.0 , shame i know , but untill the arses in govermant bring the cost of fuel down i`m happy to stick with a 2.0i.

But any way sorry to stray away from the thread , any news on a deffinate meet location for us lincs members . Would suggest Wood Land Waters In  Ancaster , but i think there going to start getting busy with the touring season . ( due to it being a camp site )

I did indeed, as it was kinda on the way back from Stoke, (been there for the weekend).

Only seven of us there - 1x Elsie, 1x Elsie replica, 4x GSi's and The Louts.

Pleasant!
