Twas a great weekend but seemed very strange without the TC crew

Me and her indoors would have liked to have gone, but things didn't go to plan.

There must have been some from TC, but most in with VODC bunch, some with ABS.
I might join up on VODC properly and camp with them next year - summat different innit!

Yeah I was thinking the same for next year,was a bit disappointed with the entertainment this year by the time I came to the field on Saturday night the barbecue was all finished and the only one in the entertainment tent was Allan,all the rest were sitting in little groups as usual.

Last year I thought it might be the start of a change for the club stand but after this year I doubt it,it really is a shame as it takes a lot of effort to get all that stuff there and no one uses it.

Exactly what I thought last year, yet they thought it was mint.
Came for an hour at the BBQ, watched a bit of the two or three that had a go on the Elsie at the 'Ring, then all buggered off into their own little cliques as usual.
I wonder if 'they' thought it would die on it's arse last year (summat new done by young people. Well, when I say young, I mean under 50!) and as it didn't, they kept with it for this year.
Hmm - you're not the first to say it wasn't the great success that it has been hailed as on the Darkside?

Vauxhall Nutter - I understand that as there could be quite a few 'converts' to VODC next year, they'll need a bigger stand!
The one that the ABS currently use might be ideal...............

We shall have our camping & stand arrangements all sorted for all those wishing to go.
 I have to say  that the Tc crew were sorely missed & absences were noted. Chris(mec) was holding up the carlton side, along with two other very tidy GSi's.

We hope to see all you guys out next year, regardless of what club you're going with, but if you're not on the vodc stand, make sure you cme over & say hello anyway & meet us ugly mugs in the flesh!
Plans for our pitch are already arranging & i can garuntee that our camping pitch will not have any of our "friends" as neighbours.
