I bought arches from Hadrian in October.

I think that when they run out of Carlton stuff thats it gone though, so they are available until they are gone if that makes sense.

I wanted a front crossmember (discontinued) and discussed making another batch with them, they were happy to investigate the feasibility of it as long as we wanted to buy 200 off Roll Eyes the tools are in India or somewhere like that if not already scrapped they said, so its not like we could even get hold of them and make some in the press shop where I work.

So realistically for low demand stuff like Carlton parts when they are gone they are gone.

No harm in trying, but the cost of shipping press tools from India (Assuming the arch tools are also there) would probably make it a non starter when shared out among the likely demand.

I found the Lady I spoke to at Hadrian to be very helpful when enquiring about crossmembers so why not give it a go.
With the price of scrap what it is I bet the tools for things like this dont get kept for long.

You could try avenue panel in Rushden, Northants. That's where I got mine from - I also bought an allegro petrol tank from them!

just been there and the statement is:
"We are still updating our website, please check again soon as we are adding products daily." Angry

Only a few of the vauxhall models have parts so I guess they are just starting out again.
Just thought I would let you all know.

It might be worthwile looking on German ebay if you're having trouble sourcing them in this country.

Have a look here .

Thats a reprint of the Hadrian info and Hadrian part numbers so Id guess they are just supply Hadrian parts.

Worth a try all the same in case they have any in stock though as Hadrian now have none of either wheelarch left.

Good news.

Having been in touch with someone very helpful at Hadrian by email to find out price and availability of a few panels the first news about wheelarches was this.

62-18-508 | 1 | VAUXHALL CARLTON (11/86-03/94) - REAR WHEEL ARCH SALOON R/H
Currently unavailable
62-18-509 | 1 | VAUXHALL CARLTON (11/86-03/94) - REAR WHEEL ARCH SALOON L/H
Currently unavailable

Having previously failed to get a front crossmember from hadrian which is listed as discontinued now I wondered if Currently unavailable meant that they may become available again. I asked although to be honest I wasnt hopeful.

This was the reply-

The parts are temporarily out of stock, we will be placing an order for
more
stock but this could be a few more weeks yet. If you like I can place them
on back order for you so that when they are here I will be able to notify
you.

so it sounds like wheelarches may be available again in a few weeks plus manufacturing and shipping time.

Thats going to make it easier to save a few Carltons.

Did he get it?
I wonder if they quote 3 days then to their surprise Hadrian havent got any, most suppliers go to Hadrian.

Hadrian are happy to deal with individuals and its cheaper than from most shops that sell Hadrian parts.

Last year they cost this much (before VAT increase)
62-18-508 | 1 | VAUXHALL CARLTON (11/86-03/94) - REAR WHEEL ARCH SALOON R/H
£19.04 INCLUDE VAT
62-18-509 | 1 | VAUXHALL CARLTON (11/86-03/94) - REAR WHEEL ARCH SALOON L/H
£19.04 INCLUDE VAT
