SAVE POSTS?
«

There is probably a way of doing this - in TC ?
I delete all posts because I dont want them and then want to go back later to it but cannot find it. Can a post be saved for easy reference later?

All the posts are still there unless you specifically delete it from the forum.
What was you looking for?

For instance, you read new posts and hit the "mark as read button". They disappear. If you did not write down the title of the thread you may not be able to find it again.
For instance - vauxhallnutter said he was selling his car. At the time I was not interested, then I was but could not find it unless I went through all his posts.
When you "mark as read" how do you get it back easily?

Aaaah... you dont I'm afraid.
I tend to use the "new posts since last visit" so I just get an updated list every time I refresh or log in.
That way If I didnt read one I can just click "all unread posts" and find it.
Short of that you have two options:
Use the search facility (a bit hit and miss sometimes admittedly) or- slightly more convoluted..
Click on "member list" on the home page.
Search for the member concerned (in this case "vauxhallnutter") and click on the name to show the profile page.
Click on "show posts"

Thanks for that. Thats what I have been doing but some guys have tons of entries. I suppose thats the problem when the forums get big.
Not being a computer guru I cannot suggest anything, so just keep up the good work administrators. i usually get there in the end.
