Hello good people, I am from Serbia, more precisely, from Belgrade.
Do not blame me if I write something wrong because my English is not the best, but I try ...
I have a car, the Omega 3000 (3.0 24v), or as you call Carlton Gsi. That car is my first love, and I intend to bring it to perfection ...
In my country there are not many owners and there are not many who know this car, so I came to you.
I'm very glad this forum exists and that there are fans of this car because I thought I was the only... Grin
Every your help, advice and experience will get me well, and I look forward to our future gatherings...
So much from me for now, once again salute to all lovers of Omega

Am I the only TC member in south Wales?

« Reply #8 on: February 09, 2011, 10:15:58 AM »

Greetings from south Wales.

I was in your country in 1983 when it was still Yugoslavia and I had a great time. The people were so friendly wherever I went. It was a beautiful place. One memory that I won't forget is the town of Budva. Or rather what is left of it after the earthquake. Everything had been left untouched. I'm glad I took the risk and entered the old town and witnessed the devastation caused. If I remember correctly, I think the earthquake happened late at night when most people were in their beds. The new town of Budva that was built is a testament to how people got over the earthquake and life went on.

I was born in 1986, but I heard about the famous earthquake, in any case I'm glad that you were in Yugoslavia, it was a wonderful country, while NATO is not destroyed, but we will not go into that ... And now it's nice but not as before ...

Pictures as soon as I put the car bring in top condition ...

Once again thank you all for the good words and best regards from Belgrade...

P.S. Thank goodness there is a google translator Smiley

Why wait until the car is restored?
Many here would be very interested in seeing your car develop from the start.
