I thought the 3.0 litres all had R28 boxes?

Nope - same rating just slightly different gear ratio and the only casing difference was due to cable clutch

Aaah but the 2.0 had a cable clutch anyway - as does the 12v.
So is the difference between a 2.0 box and a 3.0 12v box simply a different ratio and bolt pattern?

Did the 5 speed monza have a different box to the carlton? As the 5 speed box in my monza looked completely different to the one in my 4 pot carlton.

Thanks?

Monza Manual's were Getrag 265.

They are interchangable with further components and a custom prop.
