Exactly how I'm getting mine done I've seen a few cut down ones for 16V CIH 4 pot conversions (Risse Motorsport engines - cut down 6 cyl heads - but I was worried about distortion I think Opel might have done them differently Sean I borrowed yer pics

What sort of money did they quote you ? £20 but I don't want the 3.0 24V changed to 3.7 24V However I do want the full number of bolt holes for the spark plug cover plate so they will be putting a sleeve between the gapp and a hole in the added bot

I see on the photo's of the cam cover example you posted that in ...
1. - There's a Catch tank for the top breather. 2. - The breather has been blanked.
I'm looking at the catch tank option venting into air, as I thought blanking it would create to much crank case pressure.
What's your option ?

On the Monza now I just put a breather filter on the pipe - result was I could smell the fumes in the car and oil dripped on the exhaust manifold heat shield (There is a reason for this and I think it peculiar to my car) So I ran a pipe to the front slam panel and fitted the breather filter there - no oily smells although it drips a bit of oil every now and then due to the fall on the pipe and condensed oil vapour as well as the peculiar feature associated with my car I wouldn't blank it - I think you could have dipstick security issues

Remember, I bought Will's old engine and that used to blow a lot of oil in the TB via that pipe, although it is a lot better since I fitted a full SS exhaust system by RB to the car.
What peculiar features are associated with your car ?

I don't have the cover plate inside the rocker cover - I removed it when I had the cover shot blasted and powder coated as I didn't want to risk grit being trapped in there and it being a right shite to get out - I had a spare so if it hadn't worked I would have wet painted another cover to replace it It does work but it means a bit more oil that normal gets splashed around

Maybe one of the crankcase breather filters that Vauxhall surreptitiously introduced for the Vectra would help ?
They have a metal mesh inside which catches the oil/mayonaise and allows it to drip back into the engine; you would have to install it at a level which allows a gravity drain back though.
