wtf lol..

Is it just a tester?   I looked under the dash and there is a switch on the clutch side of the pedal box...

I had my foot on the lil footrest bit last night on the way down the mway..  Did 90 miles ish,   came to the end of the motorway,  Went to take my foot up to knock it down a gear and clipped the pedal.   This lil red light came on and i thought i was harking back to my aircooled vw days...
After a long run they sometimes have oil pressure problems on the run off.... Roll Eyes

The switch on the clutch is for the Cuise Control cut off.

Not sure about the red light issue.

If it is the same as other vauxhalls it is supposed to warn of a worn clutch. As in as the friction material wears down the pedal gets higher. So eventually making the switch bringing on the ligh on the dash.

Opel mantas have the same thing and this is the reason listed in the documentation.
