Here I am. Like me or loathe me, you'll probably hear quite a lot from "Yours truly" in future. Look forward to meeting and hearing from you all in due course. Once again, "Hi". Bob.

Hi stemo. Thanks for your message. My wheels are: a Carlton Eagle Quest Hearse Mk.1. Will upload some picsshortly. I gather these are rather rare now. Her stablemate is another Eagle Quest hearse, a Mk.2. The first is in use daily, and the other is being restored. Pics to follow, when I ve found out how to upload them. Am a relative newbie here. How about your wheels? Am curious. Bob.

Hi once again. Yes, I drive the Carlton MK.1. hearse ("Rosie") most days. However, "Bluebell", her MK.2 partner, is still awaiting a new exhaust, as the present one is knackered, actually non-existent, having dropped off when I fetched her from near Manchester, where she was due to "star" in a banger race at Bellevue last Whitsun (NO WAY!!!!). She's had extensive welding underneath since then, including two new sills. The neighbours love her, particularly the VERY LOUD FARTING NOISE she makes when started up! Otherwise, the restoration's going slightly slower than planned. Yes, they are terrific fun to drive, and we get some hilarious reactions whenever we sally forth. I thoroughly recommend a hearse to anyone who has a good sense of humour. And, no, they are not at all scary. Bob.
