I have posted before on the wanted section.Just bought a 24 valve auto GSi.
I'm now taxed, Mot'd and legal. Fixed fan and starting problem on my ebay bargain buy, but had a terrible noise from the rear end, which i thought was a wheel bearing, but turned out to be the wheels loose!
Tightened up the studs and the Carlton is turning out to be not a bad buy.
Hopefully going to restore bodywork soon.
Nice to see the thread on the straight six Cavalier Mk1. My first car was a 1.9GL Auto. Had quite a few coupes and sports hatches in the late eighties and later a Royale coupe, a 12 valve Carlton GSi, Cavalier SRi 130, Cavalier CDi and a couple of Astra GTe's (Mk1 and 2).
I like the old top end Vauxhalls. Why do people drive Fords?Huh?
