Possibly - but would mean unpicking and rewelding the centre hinge for the uprights and an estate would have nowhere to support the centre armrest or the side bolsters.
In short - too much of a PITA to make it worth the effort.

What do you have in mind?

What did Chris (Carlton mad) do to put the gsi rear seats in his estate?

What seats could possibly be better than the diamond leather anyway? Shocked

Chris had the seats re-trimmed with GSI fabric and new leather.

Seat conversion isnt for me Wink was looking at this for another carlton owner, who has the club version. If there is no welding or extra metal that needs doing then it can be done? i take it it`ll just be a case of turning the ski slots into solid backs?

nope to do the conversion you need to re-trim the original backs or they wont fit at all

the other way is to find an omega estate and use those BUT you will need to take the centre mounting brackets and weld them in but itll be unique at least until someone else does it!!

i must admit, as a seat they do take some beating in the comfort stakes. I`ve never seen a good set of gsi seats, let alone a set of diamond seats for sale, for ages  Shocked

Omega front seats will fit, but not a straight swap as their base is about 10mm wider (I think), but probably do-able.
How safe or MOT passable they get is down to who fits and tests them, I guess!
Omega saloon rears slot straight in. Wink

The GSI face lift ones are by far the comfiest, the leather ones look nice but your arse is either freezing or sweating. I bought a set of diamond ones for the senny but never fitted them as I prefer the GSI ones.
