I bought some headlights and indicators off ebay to replace my own. But i have two issues.

The new head lights also have the extra driving lamp on the inner edges.

The wiring apears to be already in the connector but what else do i need to do to make these turn on?

Turning the head lamps on and main beam does not switch them on?

Second question.

Did later carltons have different indicators? I only ask as on the new indicators the plastic back is two wide to fit between the wing and head lamp?

Thanks

To make the main beam units work you'll need to add a small relay in the fuse box.

Later carltons did have different indicators, so someone on here WILL but them from you if you have the later ones.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know where the relay would go?

Thanks

Yep.
To the right of the bank of fuses you will see two empty spaces for small relays - one below the other.
One of these is for the front fogs the other is for main beam units.

Anyone got a relay for this fella?

as said no worries cheap is cheap but if we do say so ourselves we have a fairly massive stock of facelift and pre-facelift parts available so if there is something you need we probably have it
