Yes I got the car from that dealer. It didn't sell a couple of times so I offered 200 pounds for it and he accepted.
It is not base spec.
Central locking, Sun roof, Electric windows all round, Head lamp wash wipe.

i did once have a rare 5 speed manual opel monza gse with the 12 valve 3L. I loved that car but at the time couldn't afford to run it.
I wish i had never sold that car. 3L is better than 2L....

3.0 is much faster but also much much thirstier but then i also have a smaller car which we shall call RASTAGHINI
lol
the real difference is £60+ a week in the carlton 3.0 CDX and for the same money in the rasta i get over 3 weeks commuting!! and thats doing about 20 miles a day!!
but the carlton is the only car i will drive in the snow so happy days

Looks tidy, base spec with headlamp washers, thats odd Headlamp washer only on the drivers side if you look. Looks like the headlamp has been replaced as the passenger side is the basic spec, whilst the drivers side has the extra spotlight in it, still nice car though.

Yes that is me who changed the drivers side lamp. The passenger side will follow. But the wipers were on the old lamps. I took the wiper off the passenger side for its MOT as i thought it may fail with a sharp protruding spike. As i do not have a wiper arm or blade for it. You may have noticed my wanted add?

Going to have a go at changing the rear window regulators tomorrow but couldn't find any steel pop rivets the correct size. So i have drilled and tapped the mounting holes instead... Should be fine. Easier to remove in the future.

Nice looking motor mate, got myself a facelift GL some time ago (nearly 4 years now I think!), had great fun in it, not the fastest but solid and reliable and nice and easy to work on. Have a company car (Vectra diesel) but use the Carlton in the snow as it copes better (and more comfortable). Did a shedload of 'upgrade' work on mine (as many people here know), Senny dash conversion (which still needs a little bit of finishing) and dippy wheels, all for minimal cost. Cheapest car I ever bought and the one that has given me the most pleasure. well happy
