Bypassing anti theft unit?

Would anyone be able to tell me ( by pm would probably be best lol) how to bypass the standard anti theft unit that sits above the glovebox? I will happily post up some proof that I own the car in question.
Its related to an intermittent starter problem, that was ongoing for most of the time I was driving the car, and i put it down to an aftermarket alarm/immobiliser that was fitted, since resetting this would normally result in the car starting. I have basically ripped out the aftermarket alarm/immobiliser thing which I thought was causing trouble, and i dont have the original control box in the car, just the plug. Having had a quick search on here it seems this box interrupts the starter motor circuit.
Looking at the wiring diagrams it would seem a case of connecting a few wires, as most of the stuff going into the box is related to the central locking (disabled for some reason on his car) and indicator circuits?
Since the starter will now not fire at all i cant really chase down the problem until i have bypassed the box. Even if the immobiliser wasnt the root cause id rather it this way for simplicity anyway.
Also will any big block vauxhall starter fit the c20ne? like an xe/tet/ecotec one?

That plug.......should be red/black tracer & black/red tracer wires, cut them & join them.
