I'll have to get the wiring diagram out and see if the existing cruise loom can be adapted.

Excellent How To, Mr. Blue. Wink

Won't be fitting it to The Louts though, as it has TVR stalks!

I know that with an E34 BMW 5 series all you need is the cruise ecu and stalk. Fit them and you got cruise.

Does any body know if the 1993 Carlton GL has the loom already in place like the BM? No, I don't have access to a 93 model to check.

If it wasn't an option on that model then I'd say it wont have but there's only one way to find out for sure!  Grin

I've just had a look in the Vauxhall Carlton 1993 models, edition number 3 sales brochure and it says that cruise control for GL models is a factory fitted option at extra cost.

Volvo used one loom for all 740 models, from the base model up to the turbo, so if you wanted to upgrade the rear windows in a GL to electric, then all you needed is a motor and switch, so its plug and play. So much easier.
