5Sp 311k miles Shocked. Had a few thousand spent on new panels and a timing chain (@274,000mls lol)in 2004 and now requires another several hundred on a sill and small amount of paint

The rubbing strips were removed when the car was painted. I do still have most of them but have not been able to get new ones

Looks real clean, can you not get the old rub strips refurbed? Though you cant beat new ones

Did these come with color coded poser mouldings and window trims?

The only way that would happen is if i got rid of one of my cars first, and i certainly aint gona sell either of them, so my time will come when one of them truly dies, caput! ded, buggered, run in to the ground!!!

Tho gotta admit, im liking the Omega B estates alot, dont know why, something about them, soz to all die hard Carlton barge driver's ie: Land Barge, Mr Mad and yourself 24Vman..... but something sparked in me the other day when i saw one on the motorway, not the facelift model which is an Omega C ?? but what Vx replaced the Carlton with straight away...

Nowt wrong wi' Omega B's, dude! Wink

Oh, and no such thing as Omega c, even though Irmscher call the facelift the C.
Simply Omega, mini-facelift and facelift.
Confused? I am as I dunno what a mini facelift is and been on OOF for over three years! Embarrassed Grin

cool cool, it was a question about the C's, and agree totally, coz its confusing enough as it is, Omega this, Omega that, Omega A, but is a Carlton too, but dont mean MK2, coz that is an Omega A/carlton mk2, MK1's, B's and C's..... AAAAHHHH!!!!! lol

Started the strip down today finally, to get the welding sorted. Behind schedule now

I need to get these removed to repair the drain hole. Has anyone done this before??

Both floorpan to bulkhead joints

new rear valance also required.

New sills are also going to be fitted a bit of paintwork and copious amounts of waxoyl she should be good for another few years. Can't wait to get behind the wheel again!

Tomorrow finally arrived and I managed to get a couple of pics today Smiley. Both sills have been replaced and have had new rivets welded on. The lower rear quarters had turned into quite a large hole almost as big as the hole on the bulkhead. Work left to do are finish the lower quarters, repair the inner rear panel, make good the drivers side bulkhead in the wheelhouse and finish of with a full repaint.
It is slow progress but it is getting there
