92 GSI 24v:
From what I've been led to believe, when switching from dipped to main beam, the both filaments in the H4 bulb illuminates along with the pencil/inner bulb. Is this correct?
The reason for asking is this, I replaced the original Cibie headlights with Bosch ones. When the Bosch ones were fitted the pencil/hi beam doesn't work but the both filaments in the main H4 bulb did, are Bosch lights wired differently somehow?

Thanks for any light (no pun intended) anyone can shed on this.

As far as I know they are both wired the same.

Thanks for the replies, turns out both pencil beam bulbs had blown, my garage has poor lighting and I couldn't see that they'd blown. All working now. Smiley
