hi guys , just had loads of welding done to my G reg gsi 24v and last night me and a mate were putting the sill covers back on, now i haven't had the car that long and im not clued up on them that much but my mate reckons that along the side of the car on the botton half of the doors, under the black/grey rubbing strip, there should be a large colour coded panel on each door - i have this on the front wings- its sticks out about 1cm or so but the rest of the car does not have it.  ----  am i missing it if so where can i get it from.

many thanks

ha ha i see , well i want some now so will have to keep my eye out lol.
As for the sills etc, my brother got them through his garage , both outer sills were i think 37 quid. we didnt use clips to put it all back as i didnt actually know you could still get them , dam - i guess you can then.  instead we kind of well um - glued them on  - ' cringe'  - sorry :-(
we used windscreen glue on the bits where the clips were supposed to be  - looks fine and they shouldnt be too hard to remove if needed as we did it neatly.

so , im looking for a set of lotus carlton lower door bodykit bits then, hmmm lol wish me luck lol

The rear door lower trims on the LC also incorporate the rear wheel arch. Well Half of it. You couldn't fit them without ending up cutting the rear arch right out and fitting the complete LC arch. Then the rear bumper wouldn't line up so you'd need a LC rear bumper.......... You can see where this is going can't you?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
