BONNET STRUTS FROM NEW OMEGA?
«

anyone tried fitting a set? Thinking it would be a bit better than the support.. Plus might save me removing the bonnet to save working round the support bar if i need the engine out.
I saw some on the newer shape omega over at the scrapper the other day.. Not sure if the throw matters tho? Or if theres a better option?

You've just missed out. I just purchased a set of brackets and rods from a fellow member.

Haven't seen the omega ones but I guess they're worth a try, am fitting senny ones to mine in the future, there should be two holes in the inner wing each side just forward of the suspension, this is where the lower mount bracket fits, you just have to make something up for the bonnet brackets as they're welded to the bonnet.

the meega b struts are much shorter than the senny ones and the bonnet is a lot lighter too tbh id go for pug 106 ones with the little ball joints but use 2 you really dont want your bonnet slapping you round the head
